Fall In Love With Polka Dots…

Hello friends,
The weather was perfect yesterday here in Houston. When the weather cooperates, it’s the best time to pull out the cutest OTS dress I’ve purchased this year. Polka dots are so in right now, are you a fan? Mix polka dots and OTS and I’m sold. When I saw this gorgeous dress online from Charlotte Russe, I knew she was definitely going in my cart. What I didn’t know was, how much I would love the rich and bold mustard color…

The ruffle details on the dress was a bonus. I couldn’t wait to style her. I decided to keep my accessories neutral, keeping the focus on this darling number. I’m so happy brands are venturing away from the standard black and white polka dots. This dress represented me to the fullest, “Fun and Flirty.” However, I do have sad news to share, as she is sold out online, but try your local store, because you need this dress in your life. I’m linking a few polka dot dresses that I thought you would love though.

Until next time,

Crochet LBD…

Stopping in on this beautiful Friday to share with you my new favorite LBD. About a week or so ago, I shared with you my Ivory Crochet Dress from Charming Charlie, well guess what I had no idea it came in black. Well I couldn’t deny her a home, so I had to purchase her. In my opinion, Little black dresses can be so much fun to style, because I feel it’s the only color that you can dress up or down and still look flawless. I added a little color with the shoes, bag, and earrings. The remainder of my accessories were silver, can never go wrong with silver. Remember me saying, when I find something I like in different colors, I buy them all. This black number was no exception. So tell me what do you like most about LBD?

Striped romper…

This romper was the perfect choice for these sunny days in Houston. I love Melrose, I always find great pieces for beyond reasonable prices. Can you believe I only paid $12.99 for it… This romper also came in navy, (yeah I know what you’re thinking) I purchased that one too. I’m a creature of habit, when it comes to pieces that come in several colors, I have to purchase them all. I also love the vertical stripes, very slimming (bonus) and it makes me look taller. Living in Houston, we have more hot days than cold, so I could probably wear this romper until mid October. Adding a kimono for cooler days, and I’m ready for fall. I picked this cute black one up on clearance at Walmart. Don’t you love when you find bargains you can’t pass up?

I’ve link similar pieces, some were purchased on clearance. I think you will love these just as much as I do.

Feisty in Cobalt…

Hello all, I know it’s been it a minute since my last post. Well I’m back! So I wanted to stop in to share this gorgeous cobalt blue OTS ( off the shoulder) dress.
If you have never taken a trip to Burlington, you have no idea what you’re missing. I always seem to find the cutest dresses under $20. Yeah, that’s right how can you beat that…

Since the color of the dress was so vibrant, I opted for my leopard sandals to give the look a bit of an edge. Now how can you go wrong with leopard, makes me feel feisty! The colors in my jewelry really worked well with the overall look (pieces I purchased years ago). To finish off the look I went with a neutral bag, and I was now ready for dinner.

Most of the items I have on are no longer available, so I linked a few similar items that I either own or ones I think you will like.

Spring favorite OTS dress…

Hello all, I had to come on and share this cute OTS dress I picked up at Rainbow Shops. The colors in the dress gave me just the excuse I needed to wear my new olive sandals. I generally buy my clothes first, and match the shoe later. In my case, I have every color, but not all styles. Unless you are a shoe lover, you want understand different shoes, for different outfits is a must.

Ok enough of talking about shoes, let’s get back to this floral dress. The dress is very flowy, and can be worn with multiple color shoes and accessories. I think this is the first year, I’ve purchased so many dresses from Rainbow Shops. This dress can be a great outfit for brunch with the girls or maybe even date night with that special someone. Until next time!

Two toned chambray dress…

Here we go again another OTS dress. While shopping online I decided to visit Cato, a store I hadn’t shopped at in years. So as I was strolling page by page, this OTS chambray dress caught my attention. As always I put it in my cart, then I changed my mind (how often do you do that?) Another day went by and the dress was still on my mind, so I immediately ordered it.

When the dress finally arrived, I was so happy with my choice. The two tone look, and the fact the dress had pockets was a BIG win for me. I knew my espadrilles and Spring hat would make the outfit stand out. Also, how cute is this bag with the blue flowers on it? The overall bag has a neutral color, and definitely will be a great look for Spring and Summer. It’s a new month, and I’m looking forward to great things happening. Have a fabulous start of the week.

Hugs and a Kisses!

Navy with a little blush…

I just adore a solid color dress, as it can be paired with so many different styles of shoes. This navy OTS dress is apart of my collection I purchased from @rainbowshops. Don’t you just love pieces that are so versatile! The ruffles on the top is given me life beyond belief.

I was a little concern about the weather today, because the wind was whistling like crazy. All I kept thinking about, should I have worn this dress today. On days like this a loose fitting dress might not be the best decision. Well… let’s just say nothing could stop me from wearing this dress today.

My blush sandals, and purse completed my look and my day was ready to begin. The day was so much fun, why you ask? I got the opportunity to hang out with my sister. With our schedules sometimes it’s hard to get together. So we did quite a bit of shopping, and you know with all the walking we did, we worked up quite a bit of an appetite. Let’s just say Girls day are the best! I hope your Saturday was just as much fun as mine. Until next time.

Hugs and Kisses!

Stripes and Cognac…

In keeping with my obsession, I’m sharing this OTS blue and white stripe dress. Stripe dresses can be a bit tricky, they can sometime make you look frumpy. But, the stripes in this dress are very subtle, making it a winner. After all, doesn’t the color just goes with about any thing. I love how this dress just flows with every move I make. It’s almost like it was designed just for me.

Being that I’m a bit short, I decided my cognac wedge sandals would give me the extra inches I needed. Are you the type of person that has to try your entire outfit on before making the final decision? Well… look no further that person is definitely me. I stared in the mirror for quite some time until I realized my bag was missing. I opted for my cognac coach phoebe bag. My gold accessories with floppy hat, had me ready to go to lunch.

Here’s hoping everyone has a super fabulous weekend!
Hugs and Kisses.
