Happy Monday, this is my first blog post for May. I’ve been working everyday, so you know what that means. Well… I’m here today to share this gorgeous cobalt blue OTS dress that’s a must have. This color is my favorite shade in the blue family, can you see why? I’ve really tried to stay away from so much black and white, because let’s face it, those colors will always have my heart. But, sometime you need to add bit of color to your life.
Shopping online has really become my jam, and quite addictive. I mean, who doesn’t love sitting in pjs and shopping. I call that a win-win. Well… enough of that, let’s talk more about this dress. OTS dresses are back again, and as I’ve stated before I LOVE them. That was no exception with this dress. The ruffle detail was flirty and Uber feminine. I decided to style the dress with the most adorable shoes. I found these heels at my local $10.00 and under store. When I saw them I knew they would be perfect with the dress. Can you see the pattern on these babies? Yeah… that’s what got me too.
I realize so much about myself recently with my fashions. I’ve worn heels, and dresses I never thought I would wear, but isn’t that what fashion is all about, taking risks. You should always remember, wear what makes you happy. That is my motto, and sometime we have to think outside the box. What risks have you taken in your fashion world?
Until next time,

The weather was perfect yesterday here in Houston. When the weather cooperates, it’s the best time to pull out the cutest OTS dress I’ve purchased this year. Polka dots are so in right now, are you a fan? Mix polka dots and OTS and I’m sold. When I saw this gorgeous dress online from Charlotte Russe, I knew she was definitely going in my cart. What I didn’t know was, how much I would love the rich and bold mustard color…
The ruffle details on the dress was a bonus. I couldn’t wait to style her. I decided to keep my accessories neutral, keeping the focus on this darling number. I’m so happy brands are venturing away from the standard black and white polka dots. This dress represented me to the fullest, “Fun and Flirty.” However, I do have sad news to share, as she is sold out online, but try your local store, because you need this dress in your life. I’m linking a few polka dot dresses that I thought you would love though.

Let’s get right down to it. I’ve had this dress for months, and to be honest had completely forgotten about it. While going through my closet trying to find dresses I hadn’t worn yet for my upcoming trip, appears this beautiful white OTS dress. Yeah, I know you know about the LBD, but let me introduce you to the LWD.! What took me so long to wear it, because it’s absolutely beautiful. The fit was so roomy and comfortable. The sleeves added a little flare to the dress, don’t you think? As I was looking through the photos, I realized I should pose like that more often, I had a slimming look (I’m sure you can relate) going on. I’m here to tell you, white is always clean and crisp. I opted to wear a straw hat, and black booties to complete my ensemble. Check out these cute earrings though, I scored them from Sam Moon for $6.99. My bag Is a dupe of the Cult Gaia bag. Now what are you waiting for, let’s get to shopping for your LWD (little white dress), and forget what they say about not wearing white after Labor Day. Wear what makes you HAPPY!
Hat and Earrings: Sam Moon in store only.
This romper was the perfect choice for these sunny days in Houston. I love Melrose, I always find great pieces for beyond reasonable prices. Can you believe I only paid $12.99 for it… This romper also came in navy, (yeah I know what you’re thinking) I purchased that one too. I’m a creature of habit, when it comes to pieces that come in several colors, I have to purchase them all. I also love the vertical stripes, very slimming (bonus) and it makes me look taller. Living in Houston, we have more hot days than cold, so I could probably wear this romper until mid October. Adding a kimono for cooler days, and I’m ready for fall. I picked this cute black one up on clearance at Walmart. Don’t you love when you find bargains you can’t pass up?
I’ve link similar pieces, some were purchased on clearance. I think you will love these just as much as I do.
When I saw this dress I was immediately drawn to it. The crochet pattern was so feminine, I knew it was coming home with me. I love dresses that scream girly, and she didn’t disappoint. The OTS look was keeping with my current obsession. Can you see all the details? From the patterns, to the fresh color, what’s not to love? I received so many compliments on this number, that solidified it was a Winner. The dress is lined, and I didn’t have to worry about anything showing. Charming Charlie is the store of all stores, from accessories to clothes, and this dress comes in black too. So, if you have never visited them, now would be a good time. I decided to pair it with pink accessories. The pink really brought the entire look together. How can you go wrong with pink? What are some of your go to colors for accessories?
This is a sponsored post, and all opinions are my own.
I have truly fallen in love with floral prints. Who doesn’t love receiving flowers, especially when the flowers are on a dress. You can’t go wrong with floral prints, and I have really been blessed to find some great pieces. My most recent find was one that I found at Burlington Stores. This “dress” is my new favorite, because it can be worn two ways. I love dresses that give me versatility. Now the colors really caught my attention, and once I saw the price it was sold. The lace was such a nice touch to the dress. I decided to pair the dress with my cobalt sandals, and red coach bag. The dress speaks for itself, don’t you think so! Now tell me, do floral prints make you just as happy as they make me?
My original sandals are no longer available, so I linked another pair that I love in cobalt. Sandals

Hello all, I know it’s been it a minute since my last post. Well I’m back! So I wanted to stop in to share this gorgeous cobalt blue OTS ( off the shoulder) dress.
If you have never taken a trip to Burlington, you have no idea what you’re missing. I always seem to find the cutest dresses under $20. Yeah, that’s right how can you beat that…
Since the color of the dress was so vibrant, I opted for my leopard sandals to give the look a bit of an edge. Now how can you go wrong with leopard, makes me feel feisty! The colors in my jewelry really worked well with the overall look (pieces I purchased years ago). To finish off the look I went with a neutral bag, and I was now ready for dinner.
