Statement sleeve cardigan…

Happy Saturday friends! When I first took these photos I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do a blog post. After pondering over it for a while, I realize this statement sleeve cardigan was so stinky cute, I had to share. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have fallen in love with SheIn. Affordable fashions at its best. And I’m all about fashions on a budget.

This burgundy cardigan had me at statement sleeve. What’s not to love about it? It also comes in grey, and I’m sure I will get around to ordering it. I mean for $18, why not… The cardigan is lightweight, and can be worn even when the temps get a bit warmer. How bout pairing it with some cute distressed jean shorts, and a graphic tee. Wow… The material was soft to the touch, not itchy like some cardigans I’ve purchased before.

I knew when I ordered it, I had the perfect dress to pair it with. My floral JCPenney dress was rich in colors, and worked well with the cardigan. The only thing missing was what shoes would I wear. I opted for my olive booties as the dress had a hint of olive in it. Now my look was complete, and I loved everything about it. What’s your thoughts on statement sleeves?

Until next time,

It’s All About The Wrap Dress…

Can you believe it’s November 7th already? If you remember in my last post, I shared that Christmas is my favorite holiday. So guess what we are getting that much closer. Now that we’ve gotten that out the way, let’s talk about this cute black and white wrap dress. As women when you find a piece that’s very flattering like this dress, you must share it with everyone. Wrap dresses are petite friendly, and as a women standing 4’9 it just “WORKS”.

I purchased this dress from MetroStyle and this is the second piece I’ve purchased from them, and I’ve been very happy with the company so far. Although the dress is traditionally in color (black and white) can you see the design in it? Ladies, next time you’re out shopping, pick you up a wrap dress and thank me later. Wrap dresses have a way of hiding any lumps and bumps that you might not want showing. The material on the dress is soft to the touch. You can take this dress from work to a date night. You can even add a moto jacket for a more street style.

I decided to pair the dress with my white booties, the ones I have recently fallen in love with. I told you these boots will be in heavy rotation. I could have gone with a black bag, but I opted for a pop of pink, and I loved the look. In keeping with the color pink, my Austin earrings were a must. When these earrings came out, I knew I had to have every color. I told you all I’m so predictable when I find things I really like. Must have all colors. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Until next time!

The Camo Jacket…

Happy Sunday, can you believe November is right around the corner. Where has this year gone? But, on another note that only means that Christmas will be here before you know it. And for those that don’t know, that’s my favorite holiday.

One thing I realized about Fall and Winter is having a great jacket can change the total look of your outfit. That’s exactly how I felt when I put this jacket on. This camo jacket can be styled so many ways. I decided to pair my jacket with black jeans, black sheer top, and neutral color booties. To really elevate my look, I added a pop of color with my bag and earrings.

Camo jackets is one of those styles that will always be around. Definitely a staple piece to add to your wardrobe. Another option on styling the jacket is with a cute skirt, thigh high boots, and a lace tank. Trust me, this jacket will be on major repeat this season, because the options are endless. My top or booties are not available online, so I’m sharing a few styles I know you will love.

Until next time,

Embroidered Denim…

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I’m coming to you to share these oh so cute embroidered jeans. Because what kind of friend would I be if I kept them all to myself. As always, doing a bit of shopping online, and was instantly drawn to the detail on the jeans. They were Gloria Vanderbilt and I hadn’t worn any of her jeans since high school. I only wished that I had sized down one, they were a little big. Nonetheless I wasn’t going to waste time sending them back. However; the colors in the jeans, I knew would be a perfect match with my burgundy cold shoulder top. These jeans would look great with a pair of sneakers, I opted to wear booties and I loved the overall look. My navy floppy hat brought the entire outfit together. Don’t you get that 70’s vibe when you see floppy hats, I know I do. These jeans are a statement piece all by themselves, that’s why any top would look great with them. So what are you waiting for get out there and get you a pair!

Crushing On Blue Velvet…

Hello all!

Who would have ever thought I would be wearing velvet. Well… when I saw this dress online at Kohls I knew it was for me. Everything about this dress screamed fall, and I was so here for it. I knew I wanted to pair it with my star booties, because after all they were velvet as well. I think I have a new love, and it’s VELVET. Finding dresses that are petite friendly, like this one makes my online shopping events so worth it. Now let’s talk about the color of the dress and booties (stars: yes,) this rich blue color is going to be one of my favorite colors for the season. So, don’t be surprise if you see me in many more velvet dresses. When I find something I like, I can’t be stopped. What are you crushing on this fall season?

Falling for burgundy…

Friday was day full of fun and excitement. I did a little Fall shopping, and that always seem to get me excited. I just wish Houston would get the memo on Fall, so I can finally wear some of my finds. JCPenney Fall line is one I can really get into, starting with the dress I’m wearing today. The fact that burgundy is a must Fall color, had me feeling some type of way. The color is so vibrant and rich. I think it’s one of the main reasons I fell in love with this dress.

I opted to wear my burgundy mules, and how cute is my burgundy bag. Didn’t I tell you I love this color… Also I knew my rose gold necklace would be a perfect addition, and finally my three toned Austin earrings completed the look, and your girl was ready. Until next time have a great day!

When black and white collide…

Hello all, I know it’s been a while since my last post, but work has been keeping me very busy. Just stopping in to share this beautiful cold shoulder dress. The blend of black and white is what I loved about the dress, and not to mention the pockets.

Now that’s a major win!

This dress can be purchased at my new favorite store Stage. Although I purchased it in store at Palais Royal, I’m sure you can find her at your local Stage store. I decided to pair the dress with my black and gold belt to add a little spice to it. Now my gold necklace is one of the pieces from my shopping event with Palais Royal, isn’t she gorgeous. What about these booties though, block heels are becoming my go to style for heels. They are Very comfortable and I can’t get enough of them. What are some of your go to style heels?
