White Button Down Shirt…

Hello friends… After a long hiatus I’m back. I’ve missed you all so much. February is the month of love, but I tell you it was not a very good month for me. Work got the best of me, and I had absolutely no time for anything else. I’m so happy that’s over, and I can get back to what I love. The connection I have with my readers, is so important to me. Well… enough of that. Just know I really appreciate you all.

Now, let’s talk about this outfit! If it’s one thing I know, every woman should have a white button down shirt. It’s a must have, as it can be styled so many ways. I decided to style mine with this super cute pair of jeans, and I loved the end result. I purchased this shirt sometime last year while shopping for my vacation clothes. This is my second time wearing it, and I have fallen in love with it again. I think it’s because of the party in the back that really sold me.

But, what about these jeans. When I saw them online, I knew I had to have them. The tulip hem gave me a 70’s vibe, and I was so here for it. Sometime being a short woman have some perks, these jeans were actually ankle length, but on me they were full length. I always run into that, and it’s okay. So, to my petite woman, the look may not be the same as it is on the mannequin, but like Tim Gunn says “make it work”.

To complete my look, I went with a black pump. This shorty, needed a lift in the height category. Added my black bag that I scored on amazon, but something was missing. I needed a bit of color to really complete my overall look, and opted for a pair of red tassel drop earrings. Now, I was ready for a day of fun. What exciting things did you do Saturday? On another note, my white button down isn’t available online, so I’m sharing a few that I know you will love.

Until next time,

Cape Sweater Dress…

Hello friends,

The excitement I felt when I put on this beautiful cape dress, I had to stop in to share. I had no idea that I would love this dress so much. As a women who loves Fashion, finding the right dress can change your entire outlook. This dress was no exception. The fit was perfect, as it hugged me in all the right places.

Lately, I’ve been doing a great deal of online shopping. It’s so easy to do, but sometimes it’s an epic fail. You just never know if the product is going to fit. Even though you may follow the size guide, there is still a chance the fit will be off. How about you, do you do more online shopping? For me, I will hold onto clothes that didn’t fit, yeah I know crazy. Whether it’s too big, or too small, I just don’t like returning anything.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program. This dress also came in black, I’m just sorry I didn’t order it. Enters my sad face, as both colors are sold out. I looked online everywhere for a dress similar, and unfortunately I couldn’t find one anywhere. I honestly found a gem with her, and everyone else must have too.

Being a petite woman, finding the right dress can sometime be challenging. I’m sure my petite woman can relate. Most of the models that are wearing the dresses are usually taller, so of course the look want be the same on me. In the words of Tim Gunn, I make it work. At the same time, I hope it doesn’t make me look frumpy.

I decided to pair the dress with my Calvin Klein boots, and my black tights. Adding my box bag, brought the entire look together. This box bag will add just the right amount of sass to any outfit. What do you think? It’s actually one of the best purchases I’ve made from Sam Moon. If you live in Houston, you really need to visit this store. The store is any girls dream. I’ll say it’s accessory heaven. All the pieces I’m wearing have been sold out online, however I’m sharing a few similar pieces I know you will love.

Until next time,

Statement Pearl Sleeve…

Hello everyone, I know it’s been a minute since my last post. I still can’t believe Christmas is so close, I usually go all out this time of the year, but I’ve been working so much, haven’t had much time to do anything else. Trust me when I say, I’m pushing myself to get in the spirit of my favorite holiday. I actually finished my tree yesterday, and loved the outcome. Now it’s time to finish my dining room table.

So, I’m coming today to share the cutest sweater that is a must have. From the ruffle sleeves, to the pearl embellishments. This sweater will keep you stylish and warm all at the same time. I decided to pair it with denim jeans, and my nude OTK boots. Added a pop of red with the earrings, and opted for my newest black bag to complete the look. Are you loving the statement sleeve trend? This girl is definitely here for it… Until next time hugs and kisses.

White Boot Trend…

Hello everyone, I’m coming to you sharing my new love of the white boot trend. What’s funny is my mother said, if white boots were not trending you wouldn’t wear them. Well guess what she’s right! I don’t think I have ever own any white shoes. The look just never interest me. Wow… how time has changed, because they are the BOMB. I found these cute white boots from Target, yes Target. I feel they can be paired with almost anything. I opted for a cute dress that gave me a 70’s feel. So what do you think of this new white boot trend? FYI: I will be doing a three blog posts sharing my new found favorite.

Until next time,

Leopard Cardigan…

Hello all!

Well… the weekend is almost here. What exciting things do you have planned? This girl will be working the entire weekend. Yeah I know what you’re thinking, but someone has to do it. I’m stopping in to share this beautiful leopard print cardigan. I first spotted the cardigan at the Set to Stage event I participated in, as it was apart of my mannequin look. I liked it so much I had to buy it. What women doesn’t love a great cardigan? I decided to pair the cardigan with my mustard dress that I purchased last year, and I was beyond excited with the overall look. Pushing boundaries with Fashion is so much fun, when was the last time you step out of your comfort zone? Next time, take a chance with your next outfit, you might surprise yourself. A few of the pieces are no longer available, so I’m sharing a few that I think you will really like.

Until next time, have a good one!

Pleated Cold Shoulder Top…

Let the fun begin, and by that I mean vacation. I’m always so excited when I get to do absolutely nothing. Although I have a few events planned for this week, I just plan on resting. Sharing with you today this stunning green pleated top that I paired with these gorgeous booties. But, let’s talk about these distressed jeans that I’ve had a few years, but will never go out of style. When I tell you they are extremely comfortable, they came with a pre-cuff, but I cuffed them a few more times to really showcase my booties. Until next time, have a great day!

Happy Wednesday, I hope you all are having a fabulous day. Just stopping in to share this cute plaid fit and flare dress, actually I really just wanted to wear my new sock heel booties.
