Can you believe it’s November 7th already? If you remember in my last post, I shared that Christmas is my favorite holiday. So guess what we are getting that much closer. Now that we’ve gotten that out the way, let’s talk about this cute black and white wrap dress. As women when you find a piece that’s very flattering like this dress, you must share it with everyone. Wrap dresses are petite friendly, and as a women standing 4’9 it just “WORKS”.
I purchased this dress from MetroStyle and this is the second piece I’ve purchased from them, and I’ve been very happy with the company so far. Although the dress is traditionally in color (black and white) can you see the design in it? Ladies, next time you’re out shopping, pick you up a wrap dress and thank me later. Wrap dresses have a way of hiding any lumps and bumps that you might not want showing. The material on the dress is soft to the touch. You can take this dress from work to a date night. You can even add a moto jacket for a more street style.
I decided to pair the dress with my white booties, the ones I have recently fallen in love with. I told you these boots will be in heavy rotation. I could have gone with a black bag, but I opted for a pop of pink, and I loved the look. In keeping with the color pink, my Austin earrings were a must. When these earrings came out, I knew I had to have every color. I told you all I’m so predictable when I find things I really like. Must have all colors. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Until next time!

Happy Sunday, can you believe November is right around the corner. Where has this year gone? But, on another note that only means that Christmas will be here before you know it. And for those that don’t know, that’s my favorite holiday.
One thing I realized about Fall and Winter is having a great jacket can change the total look of your outfit. That’s exactly how I felt when I put this jacket on. This camo jacket can be styled so many ways. I decided to pair my jacket with black jeans, black sheer top, and neutral color booties. To really elevate my look, I added a pop of color with my bag and earrings.
Camo jackets is one of those styles that will always be around. Definitely a staple piece to add to your wardrobe. Another option on styling the jacket is with a cute skirt, thigh high boots, and a lace tank. Trust me, this jacket will be on major repeat this season, because the options are endless. My top or booties are not available online, so I’m sharing a few styles I know you will love.
Until next time,

Let the fun begin, and by that I mean vacation. I’m always so excited when I get to do absolutely nothing. Although I have a few events planned for this week, I just plan on resting. Sharing with you today this stunning green pleated top that I paired with these gorgeous booties. But, let’s talk about these distressed jeans that I’ve had a few years, but will never go out of style. When I tell you they are extremely comfortable, they came with a pre-cuff, but I cuffed them a few more times to really showcase my booties. Until next time, have a great day!

Hello all, I know it’s been a while since my last post, but work has been keeping me very busy. Just stopping in to share this beautiful cold shoulder dress. The blend of black and white is what I loved about the dress, and not to mention the pockets.
Now that’s a major win!
This dress can be purchased at my new favorite store Stage. Although I purchased it in store at Palais Royal, I’m sure you can find her at your local Stage store. I decided to pair the dress with my black and gold belt to add a little spice to it. Now my gold necklace is one of the pieces from my shopping event with Palais Royal, isn’t she gorgeous. What about these booties though, block heels are becoming my go to style for heels. They are Very comfortable and I can’t get enough of them. What are some of your go to style heels?

I had the pleasure of attending the Dare 2 Aspire Women’s Conference June 25th, 2017 at Hotel Derek. I thought this was a perfect opportunity for me to network, and gain some valuable knowledge. I had no idea that I would walk away from the conference, feeling so inspired. The honorees were phenomenal, and each one story touched me. Tosi Ufodike is the woman behind this amazing conference. This was the first time the conference was held in Houston, Texas. Tosi is a bestselling author, speaker, and creator behind the first vegan line of hair products for naturals, HairYum. The primary purpose of the conference is to encourage women and Mothers to start or grow their own business. I was ecstatic Tosi decided on our great city this year.
When you think of girl bosses, you want to remember these women. LaTavia Roberson was the keynote speaker and her story rocked my soul. LaTavia Roberson, Orginal member of Destiny’s Child. Brittany King is the owner of The Career Collective. Denise Wedderburn, Houston makeup artist. Miss Mykie is a Recording artist and TV personality. Monique Hobbs Brand strategist and business manager. Erin Cheeks owner of MsIndependent & Events Consultant. Kia Renee is the host of The Sessions Talk Show. Kecia Johnson, author and HIV/AIDS Educator. Each one in their own right is the epitome of what class and grace is. Not a dry eye insight, that’s how real and personal each story was. I asked LaTavia what does Dare 2 Aspire means to her and here is her response.
As I sat in my seat hearing all these stories, it really showed me what God has for you will be for you. These women may have face difficulties in their lives, but through it all they never lost their faith. When women come together great things can happen. That’s exactly how I felt seeing the love each one of these women had for one another. It was a genuine feeling, so I encourage each and every one of you, if you have the opportunity to attend the conference next year, please do. When was the last time you supported your fellow girl boss? I had to look at myself in the mirror when I asked myself that, because prior to the event, I hadn’t done a good job of that.
Let’s talk vendors. With so many to choose from, what was a girl to do. From the beautiful jewelry by Adriane R. Wiltse. The henna tattoo provided by Houston Mobile Henna. The cake, that left my mouth wanting more by My Dainty Cakes. Eleven22 Boutique, who had the cutest sunglasses that I just had to have. I not only walked away with product, I walked away with the most important thing. When women come together we can’t be stopped.

Keeping it short and sweet on this wonderful Friday. Another cute OTS dress. When I like something, I just can’t be stopped. So with that being said, in walks another floral print dress. Spring has become my favorite season, with all the cute dresses waiting for me to purchase them.
Are you that person that finds a dress in one color, and realize you must have them all? Well I admitting that person is so ME! The colors in this dress, made me smile. That’s why you must visit, Rainbow shops. They offer cute fashionable dresses for reasonable prices.
My motto is always, it’s not how much you pay for something, but how you look in it. That’s how I feel about this dress. Clothes don’t make the person, the person wearing them do. To complete the look, I decided to wear my cute brown sandals. For accessories it was all about the gold.
Happy Good Friday Luvs!

“Life isn’t perfect, but your outfit can be.”
Trends come and go, but this cold shoulder look is one I will never get tired of. It’s amazing how my style has shifted from wearing jeans all the time, to loving dresses. I find that they seem to make me feel more feminine. Now don’t get me wrong, I will never give up my jeans, but this love affair I’m having with cold shoulder dress and off the shoulder dresses is here for a while.
Now let’s talk about this cute number I scored on sale at my local Palais Royal store, sister store to Stage. The dress had the right amount of lace, and the navy color was so pretty, and the material was soft to the touch. Anyone that knows me, trying on clothes is something I don’t enjoy to do, but for some odd reason I needed to see what this dress looked like. As I slipped it over my head, and looked in the mirror, it was SOLD at that moment.
I loved that I was able to find the shoes (which were extremely comfortable) and the purse from the same store to complete the look. A great deal of people sleep on Palais Royal, but I’ve been quite lucky to find some great pieces, for reasonable prices. Doesn’t hurt that I always seem to have a reward.
It’s funny when people ask me where I purchase my dress, and I tell them Palais Royal their response is always, isn’t that an older person store. I don’t know why people feel that way, but as long as they continue to have cute dresses, I’m a customer for LIFE…
