Jumpsuit love…

When I first saw this jumpsuit on New York and Company website I knew it was for me. I had been looking for a jumpsuit that was petite friendly. Well… to my surprise this was the one. I knew it would come to my ankles, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Most of the time I usually have to get them altered. That’s why I was ecstatic when I saw this one.

Can you see the lace detail? Cute right… not to mention the cold shoulder. I couldn’t wait to wear it. I attended an event that I thought this cute little number would be perfect for. Black always look classy and sexy. I added just the right amount of color with my earrings. My zebra print bag gave my look the dimensions I was looking for. This wide leg jumpsuit was super comfortable, and also comes in white. I purchased that one too. To my petite women, what challenges do you face when purchasing jumpsuits?

Fun with polka dots…

I couldn’t wait to share this cute little number purchased at SheIn. I have really been quite lucky with my purchases from SheIn. Let me tell ya… they always seem to get it right. I love dresses that are so on trend, but doesn’t cost a fortune. This cold shoulder dress is fun, and perfect for a Summer day. I love the fit of the dress, but if you are a little top heavy, you might want to size up. I’m wearing a small, and should have went with a medium. No worries though, your girl still pulled it off.

Don’t you think adding a little color pulls your entire look together? That’s exactly how I felt with these teal tassel earrings. Opted for a neutral color bag, and I was ready for the day. Overall, I loved the entire look, and I hope you did as well. Until next time, have a great day.

LBD with tassels…

I’ve had this dress for a while now, and thought family funday which was Sunday, was the best day to wear it. The tassels on this dress really made it stand out, and who doesn’t love tassels. I was initially torn on what color shoe to wear, because I had to match one of the many colors of tassels. I opted for a bright yellow sandal and yellow bag. Those colors were bright and vibrant and that was definitely the look I was going for.

You know when you find a style of dress that works for you, you can’t stop purchasing them. Does that ever happen to you? I just know I can’t be the only one. Even though the dress was black, it wasn’t your typical LBD. The dress had several key qualities, with the style of the sleeve as the cutest! I received so many compliments on this dress. Next time I will pick a different color shoe, to try and change the style up. Until next time.

Black and white colorblock…

IMG_1909Just stopping in to share this cute colorblock dress. In my opinion, black and white is always such classic colors. A LBD can be so practical, and mix in the white it takes the entire style up a notch. This dress is definitely a must have. The design of the front of the dress really had me feeling girly, I’m not sure why. Don’t judge me though! Check out that cold shoulder though, doesn’t it just give the dress a bit of an edge.

The fit of the dress was spot on. Swing dresses always seem to fit my body type. Gave me just enough room to flow with ease. I paired it with my fuchsia heels, to add a Pop of color to the look. Remember adding a little color to an outfit is always a great thing. Don’t be scared! Everyone has their own unique fashion, so where what makes you happy. That’s how I decide what outfits I will wear daily. Now don’t get me wrong, I love trendy clothes, but sometime thinking outside the box is okay.

My black bag, and black and white earrings completed my look, and your girl was ready to start her day. Didn’t do any shopping, something I always seem to do on my off days. It was a very low key day, just a little lunch. I hope you all had a phenomenal day. Until next time.

Hugs and Kisses!

Red romper love…

I’m embracing my Louisiana roots every time I wear something red. Louisiana is known for its unique culture, and food. The color “Red” is so rich and eye catching, and this romper will definitely catch someone’s eyes. I love all the qualities about this romper, from the pockets to the v-neck front. It’s very roomy and comfortable. For those days I want to eat a little crawfish etouffee, fried shrimp and anything else creole, I turn to this romper as it will definitely hide how much I really ate.

I purchased this romper last Summer, and it’s one that will never go out of style. The quality of the product is spot on. I can see myself wearing this over and over. I’m all for comfy and cute. Since we had a little cold front come through, I brought my flower bomber jacket along just in case. Can you see how pretty the flowers are on this jacket. With the amount of colors in it, you can wear just about anything with it and still be cute.

What about these sunnies though, are they not just the cutest?  My mary jane black shoes really solidified the outfit. And since I had so many colors in the jacket, I went with a more neutral bag. Don’t you just love when everything just comes together as planned. Have a great Thursday loves.

Blossom like a flower…

Happy Sunday!

As I was writing this post, I realize that most of my OTS (off the shoulder) dresses I own, the prints have flowers in them. If you didn’t already know I’m obsessed with them. My fashions have blossomed like the flowers on my dress.  The only downfall I had with it, was the bottom portion is a bit see-through. I decided to cut a pair of sheer leggings to wear underneath. Can’t be sharing all my goodies with the world (lol). Have to be able to keep things PG.

Lace top with bell sleeve…

Happy Saturday everyone.
April is here, and I’m looking forward to great opportunities to come. Now, let’s talk about how adorable this white lace top is. Of course when I think of white, I always tell myself to be extra careful. It seems my luck with wearing white is never good. The detail on this top is remarkable. Very flirty, and most importantly feminine. I just can’t get enough of the bell sleeves. I only wish that the top came in other colors, I would have them all. That’s just how much I adore this top.

Now that I have this beauty, what do I wear it with? What say you, these distressed denim jeans with fringes (cute right) that was the look I was going for. Hugs in all the right places! A’gaci, has been the store to shop for cute affordable stylish jeans. This is my second pair, and I tell you I’m WINNING.

I didn’t want to take the focus away from the top, so I went with a more subdued necklace and earrings. How can you go wrong, with black and silver. Although quite cute, and their from my favorite store New York and Company. The enhancement they give the look, was one I couldn’t deny.

Finally, my shoes and bag. These red sandals with the clear block heel, made the entire outfit POP. Trust me when I say, these babies will be in heavy rotation for Spring and Summer. Every time I wear anything red, I think about my Creole  roots. Maybe it’s just me, but all things Louisiana is Fire! And that’s exactly what these red babies are. My multicolor bag, finished off the look.

Until next time loves, have a Beautiful day…
