Happy Monday, this is my first blog post for May. I’ve been working everyday, so you know what that means. Well… I’m here today to share this gorgeous cobalt blue OTS dress that’s a must have. This color is my favorite shade in the blue family, can you see why? I’ve really tried to stay away from so much black and white, because let’s face it, those colors will always have my heart. But, sometime you need to add bit of color to your life.
Shopping online has really become my jam, and quite addictive. I mean, who doesn’t love sitting in pjs and shopping. I call that a win-win. Well… enough of that, let’s talk more about this dress. OTS dresses are back again, and as I’ve stated before I LOVE them. That was no exception with this dress. The ruffle detail was flirty and Uber feminine. I decided to style the dress with the most adorable shoes. I found these heels at my local $10.00 and under store. When I saw them I knew they would be perfect with the dress. Can you see the pattern on these babies? Yeah… that’s what got me too.
I realize so much about myself recently with my fashions. I’ve worn heels, and dresses I never thought I would wear, but isn’t that what fashion is all about, taking risks. You should always remember, wear what makes you happy. That is my motto, and sometime we have to think outside the box. What risks have you taken in your fashion world?
Until next time,

The weather was perfect yesterday here in Houston. When the weather cooperates, it’s the best time to pull out the cutest OTS dress I’ve purchased this year. Polka dots are so in right now, are you a fan? Mix polka dots and OTS and I’m sold. When I saw this gorgeous dress online from Charlotte Russe, I knew she was definitely going in my cart. What I didn’t know was, how much I would love the rich and bold mustard color…
The ruffle details on the dress was a bonus. I couldn’t wait to style her. I decided to keep my accessories neutral, keeping the focus on this darling number. I’m so happy brands are venturing away from the standard black and white polka dots. This dress represented me to the fullest, “Fun and Flirty.” However, I do have sad news to share, as she is sold out online, but try your local store, because you need this dress in your life. I’m linking a few polka dot dresses that I thought you would love though.

If you’re planning a vacation, or just looking for some girly dresses, SheIn has you covered. Don’t forget, ensure you read the size guide before hitting that checkout button. We need to talk! This gingham red top is a must have for Spring and Summer. Like I’ve shared in my previous post, you will see me in so much gingham print. This is one trend I am extremely excited about. What about you, is this a print you can see yourself wearing. When you think about gingham print, remember it was started in France. Now how can you deny the print now.
I purchased this top, drumroll please… from Target. I decided to pair it with my red pants. These red pants were super long, so guess what. I got the scissors and started cutting. I wasn’t finished just yet, I wanted a frayed hem look, so me and the tweezers became one. Finally, I completed the pants with sandpaper to add a little distressed look. I’m sure you can hear the excitement in my voice, when I say I was ecstatic with the outcome.
The only thing I needed now was shoes, and my bag. I completed the look with my cognac sandals, and cognac purse. I fell in love with this cognac bag, because of the shape of it. I had never ordered from this company before, but to my surprise the purse was EVERYTHING… Now this girl was ready for a fun filled day of shopping.
Until next time,
Let’s get right down to it. I’ve had this dress for months, and to be honest had completely forgotten about it. While going through my closet trying to find dresses I hadn’t worn yet for my upcoming trip, appears this beautiful white OTS dress. Yeah, I know you know about the LBD, but let me introduce you to the LWD.! What took me so long to wear it, because it’s absolutely beautiful. The fit was so roomy and comfortable. The sleeves added a little flare to the dress, don’t you think? As I was looking through the photos, I realized I should pose like that more often, I had a slimming look (I’m sure you can relate) going on. I’m here to tell you, white is always clean and crisp. I opted to wear a straw hat, and black booties to complete my ensemble. Check out these cute earrings though, I scored them from Sam Moon for $6.99. My bag Is a dupe of the Cult Gaia bag. Now what are you waiting for, let’s get to shopping for your LWD (little white dress), and forget what they say about not wearing white after Labor Day. Wear what makes you HAPPY!

Stopping in on this beautiful Friday to share with you my new favorite LBD. About a week or so ago, I shared with you my Ivory Crochet Dress from Charming Charlie, well guess what I had no idea it came in black. Well I couldn’t deny her a home, so I had to purchase her. In my opinion, Little black dresses can be so much fun to style, because I feel it’s the only color that you can dress up or down and still look flawless. I added a little color with the shoes, bag, and earrings. The remainder of my accessories were silver, can never go wrong with silver. Remember me saying, when I find something I like in different colors, I buy them all. This black number was no exception. So tell me what do you like most about LBD?
This beautiful mural is located at the Sugared Pear Boutique in Pearland, Texas.
This romper was the perfect choice for these sunny days in Houston. I love Melrose, I always find great pieces for beyond reasonable prices. Can you believe I only paid $12.99 for it… This romper also came in navy, (yeah I know what you’re thinking) I purchased that one too. I’m a creature of habit, when it comes to pieces that come in several colors, I have to purchase them all. I also love the vertical stripes, very slimming (bonus) and it makes me look taller. Living in Houston, we have more hot days than cold, so I could probably wear this romper until mid October. Adding a kimono for cooler days, and I’m ready for fall. I picked this cute black one up on clearance at Walmart. Don’t you love when you find bargains you can’t pass up?
I’ve link similar pieces, some were purchased on clearance. I think you will love these just as much as I do.
