Statement sleeve cardigan…

Happy Saturday friends! When I first took these photos I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do a blog post. After pondering over it for a while, I realize this statement sleeve cardigan was so stinky cute, I had to share. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have fallen in love with SheIn. Affordable fashions at its best. And I’m all about fashions on a budget.

This burgundy cardigan had me at statement sleeve. What’s not to love about it? It also comes in grey, and I’m sure I will get around to ordering it. I mean for $18, why not… The cardigan is lightweight, and can be worn even when the temps get a bit warmer. How bout pairing it with some cute distressed jean shorts, and a graphic tee. Wow… The material was soft to the touch, not itchy like some cardigans I’ve purchased before.

I knew when I ordered it, I had the perfect dress to pair it with. My floral JCPenney dress was rich in colors, and worked well with the cardigan. The only thing missing was what shoes would I wear. I opted for my olive booties as the dress had a hint of olive in it. Now my look was complete, and I loved everything about it. What’s your thoughts on statement sleeves?

Until next time,

White Boot Trend…

Hello everyone, I’m coming to you sharing my new love of the white boot trend. What’s funny is my mother said, if white boots were not trending you wouldn’t wear them. Well guess what she’s right! I don’t think I have ever own any white shoes. The look just never interest me. Wow… how time has changed, because they are the BOMB. I found these cute white boots from Target, yes Target. I feel they can be paired with almost anything. I opted for a cute dress that gave me a 70’s feel. So what do you think of this new white boot trend? FYI: I will be doing a three blog posts sharing my new found favorite.

Until next time,

Falling for burgundy…

Friday was day full of fun and excitement. I did a little Fall shopping, and that always seem to get me excited. I just wish Houston would get the memo on Fall, so I can finally wear some of my finds. JCPenney Fall line is one I can really get into, starting with the dress I’m wearing today. The fact that burgundy is a must Fall color, had me feeling some type of way. The color is so vibrant and rich. I think it’s one of the main reasons I fell in love with this dress.

I opted to wear my burgundy mules, and how cute is my burgundy bag. Didn’t I tell you I love this color… Also I knew my rose gold necklace would be a perfect addition, and finally my three toned Austin earrings completed the look, and your girl was ready. Until next time have a great day!

Ivory Crochet Dress…

IMG_3820When I saw this dress I was immediately drawn to it. The crochet pattern was so feminine, I knew it was coming home with me. I love dresses that scream girly, and she didn’t disappoint. The OTS look was keeping with my current obsession. Can you see all the details? From the patterns, to the fresh color, what’s not to love? I received so many compliments on this number, that solidified it was a Winner. The dress is lined, and I didn’t have to worry about anything showing. Charming Charlie is the store of all stores, from accessories to clothes, and this dress comes in black too. So, if you have never visited them, now would be a good time. I decided to pair it with pink accessories. The pink really brought the entire look together. How can you go wrong with pink? What are some of your go to colors for accessories?

Floral dress…

I have truly fallen in love with floral prints. Who doesn’t love receiving flowers, especially when the flowers are on a dress. You can’t go wrong with floral prints, and I have really been blessed to find some great pieces. My most recent find was one that I found at Burlington Stores. This “dress” is my new favorite, because it can be worn two ways. I love dresses that give me versatility. Now the colors really caught my attention, and once I saw the price it was sold. The lace was such a nice touch to the dress. I decided to pair the dress with my cobalt sandals, and red coach bag. The dress speaks for itself, don’t you think so! Now tell me, do floral prints make you just as happy as they make me?
