Stopping in on this beautiful Friday to share with you my new favorite LBD. About a week or so ago, I share with you my Ivory Crochet Dress from Charming Charlie, well guess what I had no idea it came in black. Well I couldn’t deny her a home, so I had to purchase her. In my opinion, Little black dresses can be so much fun to style, because I feel it’s the only color that you can dress up or down and still look flawless. I decided to through in a little color with the shoes, bag, and earrings. The remainder of my accessories were silver, can never go wrong with silver. Remember me saying when I find something I like in different colors, I buy them all. This black number was no exception. So tell me what do you like most about LBD?

Greetings from Houston, Texas! I’m coming to you to share this STUNNING duster. While out shopping, I saw her looking at me in the window display, and immediately went into the store to purchase. As I looked around, I only saw one and I knew that was meant for me. Well… wrong size (sad face), now I had to order the duster online. It actually worked out better, because they were having a major sale going on.
I knew exactly what I wanted to pair it with, because distressed denim looks great with anything. The colors are so rich and vibrant in the duster, and the material is amazing.
I combined the duster with my favorite distressed denim jeans, light blue cami, pink furry heels, and pink austin earrings. Very hard decision to make on the shoes, so on this post I also paired the duster with burgundy heels. Which one you think looks better? This is the perfect piece to transition into fall, and it will definitely be in heavy rotation. Being a short girl, this duster was petite friendly. Who else gets excited when you can buy right out the store with no alterations? Having a great quality duster coat, will elevate your ensemble. Trust me this one doesn’t disappoint! This is the type of duster that can be easily dressed up or dressed down.
These distressed denim jeans are the most flattering jeans I own!
This romper was the perfect choice for these sunny days in Houston. I love Melrose, I always find great pieces for beyond reasonable prices. Can you believe I only paid $12.99 for it… This romper also came in navy, (yeah I know what you’re thinking) I purchased that one too. I’m a creature of habit, when it comes to pieces that come in several colors, I have to purchase them all. I also love the vertical stripes, very slimming (bonus) and it makes me look taller. Living in Houston, we have more hot days than cold, so I could probably wear this romper until mid October. Adding a kimono for cooler days, and I’m ready for fall. I picked this cute black one up on clearance at Walmart. Don’t you love when you find bargains you can’t pass up?
I’ve link similar pieces, some were purchased on clearance. I think you will love these just as much as I do.
I have truly fallen in love with floral prints. Who doesn’t love receiving flowers, especially when the flowers are on a dress. You can’t go wrong with floral prints, and I have really been blessed to find some great pieces. My most recent find was one that I found at Burlington Stores. This “dress” is my new favorite, because it can be worn two ways. I love dresses that give me versatility. Now the colors really caught my attention, and once I saw the price it was sold. The lace was such a nice touch to the dress. I decided to pair the dress with my cobalt sandals, and red coach bag. The dress speaks for itself, don’t you think so! Now tell me, do floral prints make you just as happy as they make me?
My original sandals are no longer available, so I linked another pair that I love in cobalt. Sandals
Accessories: New York and Company
Hello everyone, I couldn’t wait to share this super chic little black romper. From the V-neck to the open sleeve, what’s not to love… This romper can be taken from the office, to a night out on the town. I decided to go with a casual look, but adding the belt and red heels really turned this cute little number up a notch. Let me tell you, I own several rompers, but this is by far the most comfortable one.
When you find what works for you and they have it in other prints or colors, you buy it (I know don’t judge me). Trust me you will love the palm print one just as much as I do too (btw on sale for $29). New York and Company just seem to get it right, that’s why I can say this is my favorite store. I can’t remember the last time I payed full price for anything there. This is a store that offers well made pieces for deals you can’t pass up. I’m here to tell you, if you have never shopped there, you’re really missing out.

Shoes: old Make me chic
Hello all! This pretty cobalt blue pleated dress was a deal I couldn’t pass up. As I walked, the dress just flowed with ease. Can you believe I paid under $20 for this gorgeous dress! Remember, when I said fashion is coming out of your comfort zone. That’s exactly what I meant, take a chance on something you wouldn’t normally purchase. As I looked around in my closet, I only own one other pleated dress and it’s also from Stage. This dress is feminine and the color is great for Summer, and it also comes in black. Yes, I purchased that one as well. Until next time.

Hello all, I know it’s been it a minute since my last post. Well I’m back! So I wanted to stop in to share this gorgeous cobalt blue OTS ( off the shoulder) dress.
If you have never taken a trip to Burlington, you have no idea what you’re missing. I always seem to find the cutest dresses under $20. Yeah, that’s right how can you beat that…
Since the color of the dress was so vibrant, I opted for my leopard sandals to give the look a bit of an edge. Now how can you go wrong with leopard, makes me feel feisty! The colors in my jewelry really worked well with the overall look (pieces I purchased years ago). To finish off the look I went with a neutral bag, and I was now ready for dinner.
